Pupils at Stepping Stones learn through play in a socially-focused environment by means of a range of organised and self-directed activities. Our objective is that pupils in our care will be happy while learning the social skills necessary to communicate with adults and other children. Our focus is more than simply accademic. We strive to empart the life-skills necessary to grow and develop responsibly. Our pupils learn to be independent and self-confidient during their first steps in a school environemnt, while respecting oothers and knowing how to interact richly with their peers.

We do this through a mix of stuctured and self-directed activities that allow each child to develop at their own pace. We understand that every pupil in our care is unique. Our aim is that they learn to be themselves through the guidance of a safe and stimulating environment and the presence of other children.
